Hi!
Forgive brevity!
Elder Hamelin and I worked with some priests from the ward on Tuesday and taught them how to street contact for their mutual activity. Joaquin did awesome with me.
We're planning on a Spanish conference next month for the 80 Spanish missionaries in the Texas San Antonio mission.
I got sick and slept most of Saturday and Sunday, but got up today ready to take on the world. Elder Bertelsen unfortunately didn't have such good luck today so we just got a chance to email before we head out to work tonight. Most of the day was spent in he apartment.
The Vargas family is doing very well, and Brianna set the goal to finish the Book of Mormon. A 13 year old is reading 2 and a half hours a day during her summer break trying to get it done, she's excellent.
A miracle find, a catholic gentlemen just married a member of our word and is now beginning to read the Book of Mormon with his new wife. He went to church yesterday and the changes are beginning. We trust the spirit to make changes in ourselves and in other that we can't accomplish in and of ourselves. We thank heaven for the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ that brings us back to God.
I love you!
Stay salty!
Elder Tyler Meidell
